a lot of the research is towards domestic violence as that was the first campaign we were going with, so to date from now I will be researching teen violence and rape ad campaigns.

I really thought the work of  William Kong was inspiring, and would have to admire the work of him as a producer, after seeing how much is actually involved in the role and how much pressure comes with making a producer that can fulfill their role which is so hands on.

My Job within our Production




My position as Producer / Production Manager starts with communication within everyone Internal and External, Sam and I are in charge of the budget and are the go to's when something is to be purchased for production.


We must communicate with Wardrobe, Actors, Cinematography, Director, Sound Crew, Production crew.

So I just gained the position of Producer/Production Manager with Sam together we have to provide schedules for the advertisement, and today we decided we will no longer be working with domestic violence, we will only be concentrating on one ad and focusing on teen age sexual violence.

So today I found out that we are just going to run with one ad as we decided it would be better if everyone was working on just the one advert, so we could donate 100% of our time to one and give it our all. So we will not be making a ad for domestic violence we are going to go with Teen age rape and been able to call a anonymous number if you know someone needs help and you need to report a crime. I have researched alot on domestic violence although also did research on video making and party scenes the best I came up with so far were in music videos.


Not sure what the writing says but I dont think you need to know the message is pretty clear from the picture.

Thought this video with text really worked and thought that their message in this video was very clear, Also thought the make up was very realistic. Nice video work with the shadows and lighting.

My idea

of what I thought would look good and make the message very clear

Teens walking through a studio, laughing and happy, two say bye and leaving and one stops and say good bye, the girl left stops to look at her phone and looks concerned although still happy, stop walking.

Idea 1


So we were thinking along the lines of a bruised and battered child turning into a adult talking to the camera audience, saying this is what happened to me because no body helped me the bruising heals and shows that it only took one person to in able the person to heal?

I like the idea of making a ad to show a message, Maybe a video of a women getting her  make up applied music playing in the background maybe text coming out of somewhere.
I like shadowed work like Shigeyuki Kihara's work.

I also like the idea we had of a silent cry for help 
and at the end she finds her voice from getting help.

If Women's Roles In Ads Were Played By Men

Thought this was funny although couldnt really use it as wouldnt want to promote violence against males and its abit demoralising for both sexes. I just liked the split screen look and thought we could have one girl on one side that shows abuse and the other side shows no abuse??

I also like the Pantene Ad campaign and also thought something along these lines would be a great idea.

One of the most hit adverts was this video #LikeAGirl I am not surprised well thought out concept and well made, I would really like to think about relating something like this to our domestic violence campaign. I think it would bring the message straight to the people and be relatable to the many.

I really liked the look of this ad campaign simply because people relate to pictures and text and I would like my ad to be as clear and relatable as possible.

 Really powerful ad for domestic violence, I thought the storyline was very clear quite early in the ad and would like to make something with the same impact although maybe a little less violent.
People already know what happens with domestic violence they just need to start speaking out.
